The Canrobert "C" Procedure The Canrobert "C" procedure is used in situations in which a particularly large astigmatic correction is desired or in situations in which simple arcuate incisions have failed to provide the desired correction. It consists of traditional arcuate incisions along the steep axis followed by a set of four smaller arcuate incisions 45 degrees away from the steep axis. It is the contention of Dr Olivera, the inventor of this procedure, that this approach minimizes overcorrections and provides for a smoother correction of astigmatism. Canrobert "C" Nomogram
